J Deploy Pty Ltd is a proudly 100% Indigenous-owned organization based in Karratha, Western Australia. We believe in doing things differently – not just because we can, but because we care.

We’re building a better future for offshore decommissioning and regional infrastructure, grounded in responsibility, sustainability, and community connection. Our work supports Australia’s shift to a more sustainable offshore energy future, while creating lasting pathways for people, culture, and Country to thrive.

As a regional Indigenous infrastructure development platform partner, J Deploy engages with government, strategic investors, major operators, miners, and EPC contractors — positioning ourselves not just as a service provider, but as a long-term sovereign industrial partner.

Three Capabilities. One Mission.

J Deploy operates across offshore decommissioning, energy security, and deployable infrastructure – each capability reinforcing the others as a complete regional development platform.

Offshore Polymer Decommissioning

As offshore infrastructure reaches end-of-life, J Deploy leads the safe recovery and recycling of complex polymer materials — flowlines, risers, umbilicals, and cables — from Australia's retiring offshore platforms.

Our proposed facility at Gap Ridge handles NORM-contaminated, mercury-bearing, and hydrocarbon-residue materials with strict EPA and DWER compliance. We process what others cannot.

Energy Security & BESS Solutions

J Deploy is positioned as a consultant and regional deployment partner to major battery manufacturers for modular and containerised Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our solutions serve food security, temporary power, remote operations, shutdown works, and hybrid microgrids.

Zero fossil fuels. Zero greenhouse gas emissions. Commercially viable for off-grid, industrial, and high-demand applications — a breakthrough in on-demand green power for the Pilbara and beyond.

Deployable
Infrastructure

J Deploy builds modular and nano assets as deployable, long-life infrastructure solutions — engineered for repeat deployment, asset longevity, and integration into large-scale industrial and regional programs.

Purpose-built for workforce accommodation, shutdown camps, early works, and remote operations. All structures meet Wind Region D (cyclonic) standards and are designed for 40°C+ Pilbara conditions.

From Recovery to Regeneration

Our decommissioning process is designed to protect people, place, and planet — from the moment materials leave the ocean floor to their safe processing and recycling at our Gap Ridge facility.

Recovery

Safe retrieval of decommissioned offshore cables, risers, flowlines and umbilicals from end-of-life platforms.

Assessment

Thorough radiation checks and contamination assessment for NORM, hydrocarbons, and mercury residues.

Processing

Mechanical stripping, chemical treatment, and safe containment at our proposed Gap Ridge facility.

Regeneration

Polymer separation, reprocessing, and recycling — turning retired infrastructure into recovered materials.

The Difference Is In The Details

Community-First, Always

Our approach is built around community. We aren't just processing offshore waste — we're creating local employment pathways, cultural connections, and long-term regional impact for Karratha and the Pilbara.

Built for Australia's Harshest Conditions

From cyclonic wind regions to 40°C+ heat, our deployable infrastructure and processing operations are engineered for the real Australian environment — not built for a temperate climate and adapted later.

A Full-Platform Partner, Not Just a Contractor

J Deploy brings together decommissioning, energy, and accommodation capabilities under one sovereign Indigenous platform — positioned for IPP and AIP outcomes as a long-term regional development partner.

The Polymer Problem, Solved

While metals are easy to recycle, the complex high-density thermoplastics and contaminated composites inside subsea cables require specialised expertise. We've built the processes specifically for these materials.

Zero-Emission Energy at Scale

Through our BESS partnerships, J Deploy provides deployable, no-fossil-fuel power systems for miners, EPC contractors, and government — enabling genuine decarbonisation in remote and industrial settings.

Regulatory Ready

Our processes are designed around EPA and DWER compliance from day one. We don't retrofit safety and regulation — it's embedded in our operational design, giving operators full confidence and traceability.

Rigorous by Design

Working with end-of-life offshore infrastructure and contaminated materials demands uncompromising safety, environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. At J Deploy, safety is not a department—it is the foundation of our operating model.

Our facilities, systems and procedures are designed to meet the stringent requirements of Australia’s offshore energy, environmental and industrial sectors, ensuring the protection of people, community, Country and the environment throughout the entire asset lifecycle.

Our Commitment

"We take full responsibility for the materials in our care—and for the people, environment and Country that surround our operations."

NOPSEMA-Aligned Operations

Operations are structured to support compliance with the requirements and expectations of the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA), ensuring offshore assets are managed, transported and processed under recognised industry safety and environmental standards.

Full alignment with Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) requirements, including environmental monitoring, waste management and contamination control.

Specialised handling protocols for Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM), including radiation surveys, contamination assessments, segregation procedures and continuous monitoring throughout the processing chain.

Dedicated containment and treatment systems for residual hydrocarbons, mercury and other hazardous substances commonly found within end-of-life offshore infrastructure and subsea assets.

Multi-stage treatment methodologies incorporating mechanical separation, decontamination and chemical processing to safely prepare materials for recycling, recovery or final disposal.

Infrastructure designed to marine-grade specifications, incorporating corrosion-resistant materials, R6-rated insulation systems and Wind Region D structural requirements suitable for the Pilbara environment.

Comprehensive material tracking, chain-of-custody controls and environmental management systems to ensure transparency, accountability and regulatory compliance from receipt through to final processing

Our Gap Ridge facility has been designed with community safety, environmental protection and cultural responsibility at the forefront, ensuring industrial operations coexist responsibly with surrounding communities and Traditional Owner interests.

Built From The Ocean Up

Growing up on Saibai Island in the Torres Strait instilled a deep respect for the ocean and a responsibility to protect the environments and communities that depend on it.

With a career spanning Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the United Kingdom across offshore commercial diving, directional drilling, and industrial operations, I recognised the need to transition toward sustainable recovery and responsible repurposing of offshore materials.

J Deploy was established to combine direct offshore operational experience with sovereign regional industrial capability. I am committed to delivering compliant, commercially aligned, and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions that support Australia’s energy transition while strengthening Indigenous participation in critical industrial supply chains.

J Deploy brings to the table what no consultant can replicate: the knowledge of someone who has worked these environments firsthand, from the ocean floor to the platform deck, and understands what responsible decommissioning truly demands.

Our facilities, systems and procedures are designed to meet the stringent requirements of Australia’s offshore energy, environmental and industrial sectors, ensuring the protection of people, community, Country and the environment throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
